Leo is six years old and without Welfare his story would have had a very different ending. His previous owner took him to the vet to be euthanised, but thankfully he was given the chance to come into our care instead.

 

When Leo first arrived, he was a very a worried boy who struggled to settle. With time, patience and understanding, Leo has blossomed. He has come such a long way since those early days and is now thriving in an environment where he feels safe and secure. Although Leo has made wonderful progress, we believe that moving into a home would be too overwhelming for him and he would not cope. For this reason, Leo will remain with us as a permanent resident, where he can continue to enjoy life at his own pace, surrounded by people he utterly adores.
