Tony arrived with us at just 19 months old after being beaten by his previous owner. We took him in to save him from the heartbreaking risk of euthanasia. Despite everything he had been through, Tony showed immediately what a genuinely lovely boy he is. He adores people, seeks affection constantly, and has a naturally warm, enthusiastic nature. Tony is now around six years old and has grown into a confident, joyful dog within the safety of our care.

Tony was adopted in 2022, but sadly he struggled to cope in a home environment. During this time a bite incident occurred, and the courts placed a control order on him. This means that whenever Tony is out in public he must remain on a lead and wear a muzzle.

Because of this, and because he is happiest within predictable routines and familiar surroundings, Tony will remain with us as a much‑loved permanent resident. Here, he is safe, understood, and able to live life without the pressures that overwhelmed him in a home.

Life here is full of joy for Tony. He loves his toys, has a real zest for life, and thrives on affection from the people he trusts. He is safe, happy, and truly understood by the staff who know him so well.
