Simba

Simba has always been an aloof, cautious boy, and much of this comes from his lack of confidence around new people. He has never found meeting strangers easy, and unfamiliar interactions quickly make him feel unsafe. Over time, it became clear that pushing him into a home environment would not be fair or appropriate.

Simba is now nine years old, and although he is settled and content with the people he knows, he continues to struggle with new faces and unpredictable situations.

Because of Simba’s ongoing difficulty meeting strangers, we made the decision to keep him safe in kennels, where he is relaxed, comfortable, and fully understood. He thrives in a predictable environment with staff who know his boundaries and support his confidence gently.

Simba will remain with us as a lifelong sanctuary resident, where he can enjoy life without pressure.
