Keto

Keto is a gentle girl with a naturally worried outlook on life. She has always been sensitive to change and finds many everyday situations difficult to process. She is scared of other dogs, scared of children, and unsure of new people. With slow, patient introductions she can learn to trust, but her world needs to stay predictable and carefully managed.

Keto was adopted once, but sadly returned. The transition into a home environment was too much for her, and her anxiety escalated. Since coming back into rescue, she has settled into a routine that feels safe and familiar.

Although Keto has made progress with the people she knows well, she remains highly reactive to pressure and unpredictability. When she was returned to us, we found that she guards various items, and her reactions can be sudden and intense. This behaviour, combined with her fear of dogs, children, and unfamiliar people, makes rehoming unsafe and unfair for her.

Keto is a permanent resident, living in an environment where her needs are understood and her behaviour can be managed safely.

She is happiest when life is steady and she knows exactly what to expect.
