Buddy came into our care under urgent circumstances, brought to us to prevent him from being seized by the police. From the moment he arrived, it was clear he was a kind, gentle boy who simply needed safety, stability, and people who understood him.

Buddy is now around seven - eight years old and has settled extremely well into kennel life. He enjoys access to spacious areas where he can run, play, and relax, and he is genuinely loved by the kennel staff who care for him every day.

Buddy is not rehomeable, and he will remain in our care permanently. This decision is based on his history, his emotional needs, and the predictable environment he thrives in. He is confident, relaxed, and happy within the routines he knows well.

Buddy shares his kennel with Beau, a very nervous girl who relies heavily on him for confidence. Their bond is strong and deeply reassuring for Beau. Buddy’s calm, steady presence helps her feel safe, and keeping them together is essential for her wellbeing.
